Buy the Baby/Child Pick and Mix T-shirt and Bodysuit sewing pattern from Waves & Wild. The Pick and Mix is the essential baby/toddler pattern. Choose between a slimline t-shirt, a bodysuit or a sleep shirt. Next pick a crew (round) neck, snap neck or envelope (lap) neck. Finally, add on long or short sleeves with optional fold over mittens on the long sleeves. The bodysuit has pattern pieces for cloth nappy wearers and disposable/undies wearers.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics:

Main fabric: Light to medium weight knit/stretch fabrics such as cotton/Lycra jersey or bamboo/Lycra jersey.

Neckband: Cotton/Lycra ribbing. Cotton/Lycra jersey can be used but the neckband may need to be lengthened slightly.

Bottom: Cotton/Lycra jersey or cotton/Lycra ribbing can be used.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: T-shirt, 30 – 50 cm (3/8 – 5/8 yd) // Bodysuit, 40 – 70 cm (3/8 – 3/4 yd) // Sleep shirt (up to 12 months only), 50 – 90 cm (1/2 – 1 yd).

Sizing: Preemie/small newborn – 4 years. Please check the size chart.

Notions: Snaps (3 sets for bodysuit, 2-3 sets for t-shirt) and scrap of woven fabric or heavy interfacing to reinforce the snaps; 10 mm (3/8″) wide elastic for sleep shirt, maximum of 50 cm (3/8 yd).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/legal/letter print-at-home pattern (17 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet); projector pattern. This pattern has layers so you can print just the sizes(s) you need.
