Buy the Baby/Child Harem Romper sewing pattern from Waves & Wild. The Harem Romper will soon become a staple in your little one’s wardrobe. With options for long or short sleeves and long or short legs, it can be adapted for all seasons. It has three necklines: round, snap and envelope. There is also the option to add feet. The harem shape means that it is suitable for all, but in particular has room for cloth nappies!

Suggested fabrics:
Main fabric: Light to medium weight knit/stretch fabric. For babies, fabrics with a high natural fibre content such as cotton are best as they are soft and breathable. 4 way stretch is required.
Ribbing: Cotton/Lycra ribbing is best for the neckband and can be used for the cuffs. Cuffs can also be made from cotton/Lycra jersey.
Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: Short romper, 40 – 70 cm (1/2 – 7/8 yd) // Long romper, 40 – 90 cm (1/2 – 1 yd).
Sizing: Preemie/small newborn – 4 years. Please check the size chart.
Notions: 5 – 13 snaps (depending on the size and options chosen); medium interfacing or woven fabric for reinforcing the binding when you attach the crotch snaps and for the snap neck option; a maximum of 20 cm (1/4 yd) of non-slip fabric if you wish to add a non-slip layer to the footed option.
PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/legal/letter print-at-home pattern (18 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet); projector pattern. This pattern has layers so you can print just the sizes(s) you need.
