Buy the Baby/Child Eclipse T-shirt and Dress sewing pattern from Waves & Wild. The Eclipse is an amazingly versatile t-shirt and dress pattern. There are options for t-shirts and dresses with long sleeves, short sleeves, gathered sleeves and a self-lined crossover hood.

The Eclipse is the sister pattern to the Emi T-shirt and Dress, so the sleeves and skirts of the two patterns can be mixed-and-matched, creating a huge number of different designs from just two patterns! The Eclipse skirt can also be combined with the free Lunar T-shirt and Amber Singlet patterns to create even more options.

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics:

Main fabric: Light to medium weight knit fabric such as cotton/Lycra jersey.

Neckband: Cotton/Lycra ribbing is the best choice. Cotton/Lycra jersey can be used but you may need to adjust the neckband to allow for the fact it is a more structured fabric.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: T-shirt, 30 – 110 cm (3/8 – 1 1/4 yd) // T-shirt with hood, 60 – 160 cm (5/8 – 1 3/4 yd) // Dress, 30 – 140 cm (3/8 – 1 5/8 yd) // Dress with hood, 60 – 250 cm (5/8 – 2 3/4 yd).

Sizing: Preemie/small newborn – 12 years. Please check the size chart.

Notions: You can use clear elastic to gather your skirt if making the dress option. You will need a maximum of 90 cm (1 yd).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/legal/letter print-at-home pattern (9 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet); projector pattern. This pattern has layers so you can print just the sizes(s) you need.
