Buy the Amherst Shirt sewing pattern from Hey June Handmade. The Amherst Shirt is a lightweight blouse with cargo styling. The sleeve cuffs are integrated into the pattern so the wrong side of the fabric does not show. Choose from optional sleeve tabs and squared or rounded pockets with or without squared or rounded pocket flaps. The back has a small pleat at the centre for added detail. A separate FBA front piece for a D sewing cup is included. Half tuck the Amherst into skinny jeans with a cute belt and flats for a laidback, casual outfit.

Fabric requirements: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 2.5 yd (2.3 m) // 56″ (142 cm) wide fabric: 2 yd (1.8 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 24 (approx. UK 8 – 26). Please check the size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Matching polyester thread; seven 5/8″ buttons for non-FBA front, eight 5/8″ buttons for FBA front; 1 yd fusible interfacing, either sheer or lightweight woven or knit or tricot for drapey fabrics // Optional: One 5/8″ button for each buttoned pocket flap used; two 5/8″ buttons for sleeve tabs if used.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (35 pages); 36″ wide copy shop pattern (1 sheet); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets). This pattern has layers so you can print only the size(s) you need.
