Buy the Almost Square Bag sewing pattern from Dhurata Davies Patterns. The Almost Square Bag is a practical messenger style bag that can be made in a variety of fabrics to reflect your style. You can make it plain and cool or colourful and fun! The pattern includes three flap designs you can choose from. It features a front patch pocket for view A, a large zipped pocket on the back and a smaller zipped pocket on the inside.

The detailed instructions will guide you through all the steps necessary to construct your bag, which include inserting zippers, pockets, installing the metal hardware, lining the bag, etc. You will learn a lot of tips and tricks you can then use in your future projects.

Suggested fabrics and fabric requirements: 50 cm of medium weight woven fabric for the exterior // 50 cm of medium weight fabric for the lining // 40 cm of lighter weight fabric for the zipped pocket lining.

Sizing: The finished bag is 33 cm wide x 30 cm high x 6 cm deep.

Notions: 1 m of medium weight woven interfacing; two 20 cm zips; one magnetic bag clasp/snap; 1.5 m of 3.5 cm-4 cm wide webbing for the strap; two 4 cm rectangular metal rings; one 4 cm rectangular metal slider; thread.
