Buy the Akinori Dress sewing pattern from Wardrobe by Me. Akinori is a loose fitting dress with a beautiful pleated front design. The waistline is belted. This elegant yet straightforward dress is designed for lightweight woven fabric but works equally well in jersey fabric.

Suggested fabrics: Choose a lightweight fluid woven material such as cotton voile, viscose, silk or other woven fabric with an excellent drape. If you choose a knit fabric, find a soft, drapey knit with a thin and delicate quality. If sewing the garment in jersey, size down one size.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 2.2 – 2.3 m (2.3 – 2.5 yd).

Sizing: US 0 – 24 / EU 30 – 54 (approx. UK 6 – 22, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

Notions: 90 cm (35″) wide interfacing, 0.4 m (0.5 yd).
