This easy-sew garment is equally poetic for men and women and can be made with plain or ruffled collar and cuffs. The pattern includes historical lore and instructions for authentic detailing.

36″ (91 cm) wide fabric: View A Unruffled, 2 7/8 – 3 1/8 yd (2.63 – 2.86 m) // View B Ruffled, 3 1/8 – 3 3/8 yd (2.86 – 3.09 m).
45″ (115 cm) wide fabric: View A Unruffled, 2 – 3 1/8 yd (1.83 – 2.86 m) // View B Ruffled, 2 1/4 – 3 3/8 yd (2.05 – 3.09 m).
