Vogue Tops 9227

Finally finished this UFO and very happy with how it turned out! I cut this Vogue 9227 pattern last year and never got around to finishing it. After seeing this dress by Veronica Beard online, I thought this pattern was perfect for my hack. All three ponte knits came from my stash.
Only modifications I did was lengthening it to a dress and redrafting the neckbands. My black ponte has little stretch so I had to add at least an inch to the overall length of the band. I was planning to user black buttons or snaps but decided found that these silver ones from my stash gave it a real nautical look.
Been wearing this little dress non-stop since I completed it!
