Valley Blouse

The Valley blouse from the Cali Faye Collection is a relaxed shirt with a low scooped neckline, keyhole opening, and puffy sleeves. Definitely channeling boho vibes.

I HEAVILY hacked this pattern, turning it into a dress. I sewed it for Project #SewMyStyle, and the blouse, as designed, was NOT my style.

I eliminated the keyhole closure so it was a pure pullover garment. I left off the sleeves and added about eight inches of length to make it a mini dress — or muumuu, as I’ve been calling it.

To finish the arm and neck holes, I drafted an all-in-one facing, which was a lot of fun and not difficult! Yay! For the full story, check out my blog post on the Cali Faye Valley blouse aka, My Mini Muumuu with No Regrets!
