Buy the Trina Dress and Blouse sewing pattern from Victory Patterns. Trina is a classic wrap dress and top that features gathers above the bust and a cross-over front bodice that creates a deep V-neckline. The raglan sleeve transitions into a boxy, flowing shape. At the sides, the bodice front overlaps the back, allowing the tie to exit and wrap around the natural waist.

Version 1: Create a tunic with the hemline ending just below the hip. The tie in this version is made with a contrasting fabric.

Version 2: Create a dress with a hemline ending just below the knee. You may choose to line the skirt portion of this dress.

Suggested fabrics: 

Main and Contrast: Light to mid-weight fabric with soft drape, such as double gauze, voile, chiffon, georgette, charmeuse, crepe de chine, rayon challis.

Lining: Compatible with fabric, such as bemberg or acetate lining.

Fabric requirements: Purchase additional fabric if lengthening your garment or using fabric with nap, directional print, stripes or plaids.

Version 1: 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/4 – 3 1/4 yd (2 – 2.9 m) // 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/4 – 3 5/8 yd (2.5 – 3.3 m) // Contrast (either width): 1 yd (1 m).

Version 2: 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 4 1/4 – 5 yd (4 – 4.6 m) // 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 5 – 6 1/2 yd (4.6 – 5.9 m) // Optional lining (54″/137 cm wide fabric): 2 yd (2 m).

Sizing: 2 – 16 (approx. UK 6 – 18). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 1/4 yd/m of lightweight fusible interfacing.
