The Mayfair Dress is a jersey dream designed to carry you from office to cocktails, from beach to bar, or from sofa to fridge and back again (!) – it’s comfortable, elegant, supremely flattering and wonderfully versatile. With three sleeve lengths and a knee-length or maxi skirt option, this pattern has got all situations covered. Its relaxed fit and gently flowing lines create a winning combination of easy-to-wear and effortlessly stylish. Pair the maxi with sandals and a broad-brimmed hat in the summer; pair the knee-length and long sleeves with tights and boots to see you through the winter. Mayfair is for all occasions, all year!

The dress features an all-in-one grown-on collar and facing, set-in sleeves and a gathered waist at the centre front, with an attached waist tie for tying at the back or front of the dress.

Suggested fabrics: Knit fabrics with 25% crosswise stretch and some drape such as viscose jersey, stretch velvet or soft cotton jerseys.

Short skirt: 150 cm wide fabric: 1.5 – 2 m // 115 cm wide fabric: 2.4 – 2.9 m.

Long skirt: 150 cm wide fabric: 2.2 – 3 m // 115 cm wide fabric: 3.3 – 3.8 m.

Sizes 16 – 28

Short skirt: 150 cm wide fabric: 2.1 – 3.1 m // 115 cm wide fabric: 2.8 – 3.2 m.

Long skirt: 150 cm wide fabric: 3.3 – 4 m // 115 cm wide fabric: 3.8 – 4.6 m.

Sizing: UK 6 – 20 or UK 16 – 28. Please check the size charts and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 50 cm (20″) clear elastic, 1 cm wide.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (40 pages for sizes 6-20 or 48 pages for sizes 16-28); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets for sizes 6-20 or 3 sheets for sizes 16-28).
