Buy the Lucida Dress sewing pattern from Friday Pattern Company. Lucida is the perfect dress to help you look and feel good while still being comfortable. This cute little dress features cap sleeves, an adjustable tie at the neckline, and a slight A-line skirt. It is a great year-round dress that can be worn when the weather is warm, or paired with tights and boots when it cools down.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Knit fabrics with at least 10% stretch. For a more casual look, go for a nice jersey knit. If you want to jazz it up, go for something with texture like a stretch velvet (as pictured). If the knit has a bit of drape in it (a bamboo or rayon knit), it will give the dress nice movement and weight.

Fabric requirements: 45″ wide fabric: XS-M, 2.25 yd (2.1 m) / L-XXL, 2.88 yd (2.6 m) // 54″ wide fabric: XS-M, 2 yd (1.8 m) / L-XXL, 2.25 yd (2.1 m).

Sizing: XS – XXL (approx. UK 6 – 20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Machine thread; stretch or ball point needle.
