Joanna Coat – Schnittchen Patterns

A review of Schnittchen Patterns Joanna Coat

I downloaded this pattern the day it was released. It was exactly the kind of coat I had been looking to make with large lapels.

There is only a print at home version available so before you choose pdf over printed version as I did know that there are 85 pages you have to stick together!! I think if I didn’t want to get started making it immediately I would have probably just ordered a printed copy.

The instructions are basic in text format only with no pictures and I was confused in a few places but when I emailed the pattern company they quickly responded with answers and I could continue making.

The pattern came together nicely and is perfect for what I wanted. I would highly recommend this pattern for someone looking for a coat of this style. I used 2 meters of wool and about a meter and a half of lining for the second size.
It’s my first experience with this company and I am already planning to make the coatigan from the same collection.
