Cocoon Dress

I really love this pattern. I got it free with Sew Now Mag a couple of months ago and instantly liked the shape and ease of fit and style. Now all I needed was to spy out some fabric for it!

Pattern

The cocoon dress has a V-neck and is knee length in style and there are two options for the sleeves – a short style for summer or 3/4 type length sleeve for colder days. I sewed up the short sleeve version as I knew I wanted to wear mine in the summer. It also has pockets – win! And essentially it’s just what it says on the tin – a simple sew. But a very classic and chic one.
