Cambie Dress – Sewaholic

This is a brilliant pattern! I made it in a cotton sateen with a rayon challis lining, which all worked out beautifully. I made the A-Line-Skirt-Version, but I’ve definitely planned a gathered skirt-version as a summer dress.

The instructions were very clear and made even the slightly more tricky parts (like attaching the gathered straps to the neckline) a breeze to sew! I love that this is a dress that can definitely look fancy, but still has pockets! How great is that!?

My dress gapes slightly at the front, but that’s me not doing an FBA, not the pattern. Generally the fit is wonderful!
