Butterick Misses’ Top B6563

Reviewed by nightingaleanddolittle on 19th October, 2018

The pattern is for a loose fitting, button-front top with a few different collar and sleeve options. For both of the versions I’ve made here, I used the cap sleeves of view B and the Peter Pan collar from view C.
I really enjoyed making these tops. As shirts go, they’re fairly simple to sew but still produce a nice, clean finish on the inside of the garment.
As for many commercial patterns, I’d recommend using the finished garment measurements when choosing what size to make – I went down one size in the bust and two sizes in the waist/hips compared with what is recommended for my body measurements.
