The Anna dress from By Hand London is a summery dress with kimono sleeves, two neckline options, and two length options. Seven panels give the A-line skirt delicious, light movement.
I sewed this dress in Liberty of London cotton Tana lawn that I bought at the Liberty store in London FOUR YEARS AGO! (I’m in the States, so I don’t get to Liberty often, LOL.) I’m glad I waited to used it on this dress, because they’re the perfect match.
The directions for Anna are easy to follow and conversational. As for design details, I especially like the bust pleats. They’re a nice departure from the usual darts.
The only thing I don’t like about this dress is that I have to wait until it’s a lot warmer before I can wear it!
