Celia is from Shakespeare’s As You Like It, a story of romance, intrigue and mixed up identities.

Celia, however is steadfast in her devotion to her best friend Rosalind and will follow her to the ends of the earth – almost literally. She supports her friend and offers a somewhat sceptical view on love until she finds a love of her own.

Celia is a foil to Rosalind allowing her friend to shine. Our Celia will be wardrobe staple acting as a backdrop for you to show off some of your most beautiful accessories and she is a loyal friend to both our Hero and Portia Trousers too.

Celia is a simple tunic top with bust darts for some shaping but remains a relaxed and comfortable fit. The set in sleeves end in a soft, deep frill and echoes a similar frill at the hem.

Frills of course are optional and can be included or left off depending on your mood.

Suitable Fabrics

Linen, cotton poplin, soft wool, crepe, viscose, soft needlecord.
