The Parker Collection comes with two pattern options to pimp your handmade wardrobe.

This is the second pattern from Tribe Patterns, designed by Fiona Parker from Diary of the Chainsticher sewing blog. Fiona came up with this amazing design and worked with us to bring the pattern to life!  The Parker collection includes a 70s inspired dress and top with lots of different variations including three-quarter length, lantern and fluted sleeves. Both versions feature an optional v-neck opening with tassels and the panels are perfect for colour blocking or mixing prints.

The centre front and back panels of both versions are self faced and ideal for showcasing colourful embroidery which you can recreate using this FREE template.

The Parker Collection dress

The dress has a princess seam bodice with optional high v-neck opening. Include tassels or ribbon trims for a 70s inspired look. Mix and match sleeves opting for either three-quarter length, fluted or lantern shaped. Included in the instruction booklet, we also guide you through inserting lace into the sleeves. Lace would also make a lovely addition to the hem too. The skirt is panelled and includes the all important pockets. The dress closes with an invisible zip and has a relaxed fit at the waist. Perfect for those warm summer days.

The Parker Collection top

The top has a princess seam bodice with optional lower v-neck opening. You can also include tassels or ribbon trims for a 70s inspired look. Again mix and match the sleeves by choosing either three-quarter length, fluted or lantern shaped. The top has a relaxed fit and pairs perfectly with jeans or shorts. It has gathers below the bust at the front and across the back between the shoulders. This top couldn’t be more comfy to wear and will be your wardrobe staple this summer.

Step-by-step instructions

The pattern comes with a 28 page full colour booklet including step-by-step instructions to help you sew both versions. It also has style inspiration, a glossary of terms, suggested fabrics, lay plans, line drawings and a size chart in inches and cm with fabric requirements in metres and yards.
