Depending on how confident you are, you could combine the hood from one pattern onto the body of another to get exactly the style you want.

How are you getting on with the Sister Mini? Its probably too late, but I just used seam tape for the edges, holding up well so far!

Newbie to sewing clothes but a long time quilter.
I’ve always followed the match your thread to material rule of thumb, is this recommend for sewing clothes too?
If so, any advice on which weight of cotton or should I just stock up on a poly sew all thread?
Mooching on the site and just spotted your location. We are holidaying in the area in September and wouldn’t mind picking up some local handmade items (other than wine), i.e. baskets for market trips etc, do you have any recommendations?
