Join us in welcoming a new designer to the Fold Line family! Madswick patterns are packed with pretty, whimsical and unique details that you need to take a closer look at! If you are looking to flex your creative sewing muscles, this is a great designer to do that with! The detail on the Raida Dress and the Raida Blouse is just lovely, I’ve never sewn a gathered yoke so I’d love to give that a try!
Good news gang, the bestselling Matchy Matchy Collage Gather Top is now available as a dress! The Collage Gather Dress has a relaxed boxy fit with soft gathers on the sides for a little extra shape and movement. The dress has hidden in-seam pockets and comes with multiple dress lengths marked directly on the pattern from mini to maxi. Designed to be sewn as a patchwork or with a single fabric, it is fun to sew, easily customisable and comes together quickly.
If you haven’t tried Matchy Matchy patterns yet, this is a good starting point. The pattern construction allows for smaller cuts of fabric to be used – perfect for scraps! The Skipper Top and Dress have a relaxed, breezy shape, scoop neck and slightly dropped shoulders, giving a mini cap sleeve appearance. The back has a high yoke with a soft, gathered panel. It’s perfect for playing with prints and colour!
Searching for a summer shirt? This a is good one! The Itch to Stitch Nosara Shirt has all the classic elements you love – a front button closure, a standard collar with a collar stand, high-low shirttail hem – and cute short sleeves that seamlessly blend into the bodice. Itch to Stitch patterns are great as they come with multiple bust cup options which can help you achieve a great fit.
We’ve had a pattern drop from Bara Studio with some fab knit patterns that include a practical set for yoga and some gorgeous summer dresses. The patterns have step-by-step video tutorials which is great for anyone who prefers to watch the steps as they sew (in German with English subtitles).
