Sewing Patterns for Handmade Christmas Gifts

Sewing pals, we have five weeks till Christmas and if you plan to make some handmade presents we need to get started pronto! What is better than handing over something you made yourself? We’ve got a range of fantastic patterns for you to mull over, whether you are sewing for a child or grandchild to a tricky gifter we’ve got something in here for everyone.

Before you embark upon doing this, you must remember that the recipient will not understand the time and effort that went into making it. If you know that and are happy to continue then read on!

Sewing for Women:

Sewing for Men:

There are some really fantastic options here, again these are really popular patterns. The quadra jeans are a pretty involved make so these would have to be for a close family member who you knew would appreciate the blood sweat and swear words that went into making it!

Sewing for Kids:

If you have a little one to sew then it’s time to open up your scrap drawer and start hunting. Kids clothing is the perfect way to use up leftover fabric, and save you a few pounds too!

Unisex patterns:

If you need to make a few presents then we have some fantastic unisex patterns that can cover a lot of bases. If you like to batch sew then one of these could be a really good option. You buy one pattern and can make gifts for the whole family!

Sewing for a fellow craft lover:

If you’ve got a fellow creative on your gifting list then here are three great pattern options.
