The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases – 25th September 2022
Happy Sunday Fold Liners! It’s time for your weekly dose of THE EDIT: NEW SEWING PATTERN RELEASES. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!

Fibre Mood Magazine Edition 21 has 12 patterns and 25 style variations for elegant, trendy and comfortable items for autumn! This edition has designs for dresses, a skirt, top, jumper, poncho and jacket for women as well as a jacket for children.
The patterns come on pull-out A1 sheets that are folded and stapled into the magazine. The patterns are overlaid and are colour coded which makes them easier to trace off.

We’ve just had a delivery of Megan Nielsen’s latest pattern and it’s one that is full of sewing possibilities. The Protea Capsule Wardrobe Set features a top and dress with two neckline options, two sleeve options, two skirt options, darts at the bust, neckline facings, a gathered skirt and anchored pockets.

We’ve also just had a delivery of the popular Hovea Jacket pattern in the curve size range. Hovea features multiple lengths; deep-angled feature pockets; unlined, full lining or quilted options; and belt or tie closures.

French Poetry Pleiades 1 Dress now comes in two size ranges, with the new size range going from a UK 18 to a UK 36/38. The feminine spirit of the Pleiades, nymphs of Greek mythology, is incarnated in this short (above the knee) dress with a V neckline, gathers on the shoulders and slightly puffy sleeves. Options include long or short sleeves, short tied sleeves or ‘lantern’ sleeves; a gathered skirt with or without a frill at the bottom; and decorative buttons under the front V neckline. The dress has a zipper closure in the back.
