Sew Reporter – 31 March

Happy Sunday! I hope you’ve had a good weekend and managed to get a bit of sewing done. On the blog this week, we’re talking sewing tips and Kate shares some of her favourites. There have been some beautiful makes from the community so it’s time to enjoy your weekly slice of sewing goodness..

Marie aka A Stitching Odyssey attended the Dressmakers ball last weekend wearing this beautiful velvet number! She combined the Jennifer Lauren Gable top with a full skirt using the Pauline Alice Aldaia dress, perfection!

What a beautiful Kielo wrap dress! We’re pretty sure that Vicky of Sewstainability will be swooshing around in this dress all spring/ summer!

We are going banana’s for the Kyoto Tee hack Emily of Self Assembly Required made. She paired it with Marilla Walker – Roberts Collection dungarees and this outfit looks like something you never want to take off!

We are seriously impressed with Katie aka Katie Kortman Art. She made a swimsuit (M7417) in fabric she designed herself!

Yup, we all need a creamy True Bias Yari jumpsuit for spring! Katie of What Katie Sews added such a beautiful staple to her wardrobe!

The queen of More Is More! Marcie of Oonaballoona went all out with creating this 4 in 1 dress. She made not 1, not 2, but 3 detachable capes for her outfit, just wow!

We’ve already seen so many beautiful garments from the ‘Breaking The Pattern’ book by Named and this dress is no exception! Victoria went for the Solina dress and she looks amazing wearing it!

Nikki made the Frances dress by Victory Patterns. This dress ticks all our boxes; stripes, secret pyjama’s, perfect pattern matching, navy/ pink colour combo and overall fabulousness!
