The Sew Reporter – 10th of March
Well it’s been a busy week at Fold Line HQ getting back to normal after the Knitting and Stitching show. We really loved meeting so many of you and thank you to everyone who came and said hello on the stand. Kate has moved house this week and I have been let loose on the blog, go have a read of my latest bit of research into choosing a sewing pattern for your body shape. So it’s time to settle into this week’s instalment of sewing inspiration.. happy Sunday all!
Bianca of Sleepless in Bavaria made the Joanna coat from Schnittchen Patterns. We are in love with this design and the fabric!
Kathy of Sew Dainty added eyelets to her Cocowawa Crafts Chestnut Sweater! She now can change the ribbon on her shoulder to match the rest of her outfit, very clever!
Emily aka Self Assembly Required was lucky enough to pattern test Tilly and the Buttons’ latest pattern. She used this super cool Orla Kiely style print for her Eden coat and she looks awesome wearing it!
This beautiful By Hand London Alix maxi dress makes Laura of The petite Passions look very stylish and chic!
We couldn’t resist sharing another coat! This beauty is sewn by Janene of Ooobop and she used the Butterick 547 vintage dressmaking pattern.
This is the Camden pinafore, which is one of the latest designs by Nina Lee Patterns. Manju of SewManju used corduroy for her version, we love the colour and the way she styled it!
Vicky of Sewstainability looks so cosy in her Kyoto sweater by Papercut Patterns.
Faye made a Rosa shirt and Rosa shirtdress from Tilly and the Buttons. She created 2 completely different looks, Rosa is such a versatile pattern!
