The Sew Reporter – 24th February

Well I don’t know about you but I think week two of the Sewing Bee will be forever remembered as the episode that we saw (spoiler alert!) Patrick flossing! If it’s inspired you to give children’s sewing a go then do check out our pattern picks and Kate chatting through her favourites. Next week we will be getting ourselves organised for the Knitting and Stitching Show on 28th – 3rd March, we hope to see you there. And of course for more inspiration just carry on reading and get fired up by brilliant makes, blogs, vlogs, podcasts and products…

We are so excited to have a stand at the Spring Knitting and Stitching Show in London on 28 Feb – 3rd March. We will be bringing lots of sewing patterns from indie designers to peruse. We’ll also be on hand to help you find that perfect next project! Save £2 off adult tickets and £1 off concessions with the code FOLDLINE19.

Looking forward to meeting you all soon!

Allie of Allie Jackson looks so cosy and chic in her Closet Case Patterns pyjama shirt dress!

Speaking of cosy, Heather Lou of Closet Case Patterns stitched the Lahja dressing gown by Named Patterns using the most stunning Robert Kaufman fabric.

Can you recognise the Bettine dress in this top? Juliet of Sewsonatural has done a very clever hack and turned it into this stunning Bettine blouse with voluminous sleeves.

Sue aka Susan Young Sewing is looking stunning in her version of the Megan Nielsen River dress.

Fiona of Diary of a Chainstitcher made a lovely silk kimono using a zero waste tutorial!

Manju of Sewmanju is looking very stylish! She used the Peppermint Magazine to make these high waisted and wide legged trousers.

What a beautiful shirtdress! Adelle of Button and Pip used the Bleuet dress by Deer & Doe.

A very dreamy Williamette Shirt, designed by Hey June and made by Patricia of Patsypoo Makes.
