Higgs & Higgs is having a sale on all their printed poplins, including florals, chevrons and all sorts of fun designs! (a selection is pictured above)

At first glance a Liberty-esque paisley, this cotton from The Crafty Mastermind is well worth a closer look – to spot the squirrels!

Jeepers, creepers, look at those peepers! That is, this quirky ‘peepers’ print from Til the Sun Goes Down, which features retro glasses on a pale powder georgette. Perfect for a sassy blouse!

Simplicity are having a Spring sale this week with 50% off all patterns! Go, go, go!

This brushed cotton from Fabrics Galore, patterned with cheeky little tyrannosaurs, is just perfect for pyjamas!

Wouldn’t this grey glitter jersey stripe from Cotton Reel Studio make a fantastic simple tee? Oh, and they have it in navy too!

Sometimes simplicity is the sweetest, as with these viscose prints (pictured above) new in at Remnant Kings.

Use this gorgeous ribbing from The Draper’s Daughter as the neckband on your favourite sweater or tee pattern to give it a subtle retro touch!

This stunning fabric from The Fabric Godmother is made up of tiny sequins which then have a tropical floral design printed over the top. Imagine it in a fabulously glamorous summer party dress!

Anchors aweigh! This anchor print poplin from Dragonfly Fabrics is more detailed, delicate and sophisticated than many nautical prints and would make a gorgeous shirt dress.

An essential for every good sewist, get your beeswax block from Beyond Measure and have stronger, smoother hand-sewing!

Go graphic with these fantastic designs new in at Girl Charlee!

Triple crepe is a perfect fabric for this transitional time of year – especially in the wonderful range of colours on offer at Minerva Crafts! The airforce blue shade would make a super pair of wide-legged spring trousers.

This ditsy floral corduroy from The Village Haberdashery would make a fantastic pair of dungarees, a pinafore dress or a pencil skirt. Its mix of colours would work happily all year round!

Are you one of those people that just loves paint swatches? (Or fabric swatches for that matter?!) If so then you have to check out this super fun swatch-style print from Celtic Fusion Fabrics! It would be so great for home decor!

This bright, citrus green cotton from Cloth and Candy is the perfect antidote if you’re not into spring pastels but want to embrace new season brights!

Go check out Hayley’s blog post on the fabulous contents of last month’s Sew Hayley Jane sewing boxes – you’ll be more than a little tempted to sign up for one yourself!

A lot of the gingham fabrics you come across are polycotton; not so with this lovely black and white classic from Cloth Spot, which is pure cotton and would make fabulous dresses or shirts!

There’s something of Monet’s impressionism about this gorgeous painterly crepe from Sew Over It – perfect for some summer swishing!

If a cup of tea is your constant sewing companion then you’ll love these sewist mugs from Sew Me Sunshine!

Get to know your constellations with this fab jersey from Backstitch, available in grey and blue!
