The Best of Sewing in 2017

As 2017 comes to a close today, we wanted to look back over the year at all the sewing goodness there has been! Take a look below at some of the sewing highlights of 2017. There have been lots of new sewing patterns and emerging designers, plus events, makes, blog series and loads of new fabrics.

Here’s to a year that has seen the sewing community grow from strength to strength, as we welcome more people learning this fantastic craft. The support of the sewing community has enabled people to start their own businesses, get creative and meet new people. We have loved being a part of this over the last 12 months and can’t wait to see what 2018 brings!

See you back here soon for lots of new dressmaking inspiration and the latest patterns supporting indie designers.

Happy New Year to you all and best wishes for 2018.
