The Big Vintage Sew-along #bvsewalong
Hot off the press we are here to tell you about the Big Vintage Sew-along, launching today! You are invited to sew your favourite fashion era from a selection of vintage sewing patterns spanning the 1930s to 1960s. The Sew-along is being hosted by Butterick to raise money for The Eve Appeal charity and will run until the Knitting and Stitching Show in October. There will be lots of exciting things happening throughout the year including vintage workshops, events in stores, a fantastic bloggers tour and finishing with a vintage tea party.
How can you get involved?
You can join in the sew-along with sewists from all over the country to help raise funds and awareness for The Eve Appeal charity by sewing one of the dressmaking patterns from the inspiration vintage edit (all 20 patterns are listed below). Monies raised from the sale of each pattern will go towards helping The Eve Appeal achieve better detection and prevention of women’s cancers. You can find out more about the work of The Eve Appeal charity here.
