15 YouTube sewing vlogs to watch

Are you looking for inspiration for your next sewing project? Vlogs (Video Blogs) can be a great way to see what bloggers and makers are creating in the sewing community. Somewhat of a new phenomenon in the sewing world, we’ve compiled a list of over 15 sewing vloggers in our creative community. Ruthie has just started vlogging at Craft Werk where she shares DIY tutorials, her sewing plans, fashion inspiration and what she has made.

Nikki and Rachel, the Stitch Sisters, run the Sodbury sewing school in Bristol and vlog about their makes, fabric shopping trips and review patterns.

Dominique Major vlogs about her sewing favourites including patterns and books and also shares her fabric hauls.


Clueless Seamstress – Leigh vlogs about her makes, reviews patterns and sewing courses and shares top tips and her favourite sewing tools.


The Little Tailoress – Having taken a baby break she’s back and starting to vlog, it’s a lovely mix of sewing and knitting and you can follow her creative journey

Athina Kakou – Athina loves sewing and has been blogging since 2012. She lives in Greece and runs her own business called Craftaholic. She has impressively decided to start a vlog in English!

Lauren Guthrie – Who owns sewing shop Guthrie & Ghani show us what she’s been making and uses lots of the indie designers.


Ellie M – shares her makes fabrics hauls and lots more, you can expect to see lots of lovely vintage pattterns alongside the indie designers.


The Gingerthread Girl – Jen is a vlogging newbie and shares what she has been buying on her shopping trips plus pattern purchases and latest makes.
