Buy the Liana Stretch Jeans sewing pattern from Itch to Stitch. Once you get the right fit, you’ll never want to buy another pair, ever! These mid-rise jeans sit higher in the back for better coverage. They have a classic five-pocket design and a pocket stay to keep the pockets in place and trim the tummy. The pattern includes three leg options: skinny, straight and boot cut.

Suggested fabrics:

Primary fabric: Use a 7-12 oz. (237-406 gsm) stretch denim fabric with 20%-25% stretch. You may use twill or corduroy with similar weight and stretch.

Lining: Use a stable, non-stretch woven fabric. Quilting cotton is a great choice.

Fabric requirements:

Primary fabric: 54″ (135 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 yd (130 – 230 cm).

Lining: 44″ (111 cm) wide fabric: 1/2 yd (40 cm).

Sizing: US 00 – 20 (approx. UK 6 – 20). Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 6″ (15 cm) metal or jeans zipper; one jeans button; two jeans buttons for pocket flaps (optional); 12″ x 6″ (30 cm x 15 cm) piece of water-soluble or tear-away stabiliser; 43″ (109 cm) of 1/4″ (0.6 cm)-wide twill tape; topstitching thread; nine rivets (optional).
